Mac is a versatile and accomplished Australian Shepherd with titles in Conformation, Rally, and Trick Dog. His intelligence, structure, and eager-to-please temperament make him an outstanding representative of the breed.
Mac’s most notable achievement came when he earned 4 consecutive five-point majors in a single weekend—his very first show cluster with his handler, Kara, whom he had met that same day. Those wins finished his Champion title and set him on a quick path to his Grand Champion title, which he achieved with multiple Best of Breed wins.
He was also a very promising, smart and talented agility student, but time and life got in the way and he was never taken out to compete.
Beyond titles, Mac is the guy who never needs a leash—always at my side, always looking to me for direction, no matter the distraction. Mac was also my self appointed service companion after my back surgery, staying beside me for 12 weeks and matching his steps to mine to steady me whenever I needed support.
